MiD Twickenham (Mediation in
Divorce)
MiD are part of National Family
Mediation offering
inexpensive 'All Issues' family mediation to resolve all
the issues arising in divorce and serious relationship
breakdown, as well as adult and children counselling in
Twickenham. Family Mediation helps those involved in family
breakdown to communicate better with one another and
reach their own decisions about all or some of the issues
arising from separation or
divorce.
The Centre for
Mediation and Conflict Resolution at the
Institute of Family Therapy offers
mediation to separating and divorcing couples, a conflict
resolution service for other kinds of family disputes and
“Children in Mind” - parenting seminars which helps
separated parents to help their
children.
Andrea
Karpinski
Financial consultant and stockbroker, Andrea
Karpinski has helped numerous clients over the last 25 years
plan and re-structure their finances. She has worked for
Zurich, Abbey National, Eagle Star and the Woolwich and now
works for a City bank, however her passion is in helping
people to progress through the financial aspects of divorce
as painlessly and positively as possible dispensing sound
financial advice. She is the mother of four children,
divorced, and a single parent.
Cheryl Fisher
Independent mortgage consultant, Cheryl Fisher
runs her company Finance Matters
from Hitchin, Herts and is a mother,
divorcee and in a long term relationship. As an independent
mortgage broker, she has a huge range of lenders to call on
to find the right deal which saves separating and divorcing
clients both time and money. Cheryl is passionate about
providing all her clients with exceptional customer service
and makes the mortgage process a 'hassle free'
experience.
Christine Alboni
Christine Alboni's long career in senior Financial
Services management has enabled her to create a much needed
service for businesses and private householders keeping
books up to date and administrative tasks under control.
Director
of Admin Ambulance in Twickenham,
Christine's cost-effective services include financial
fact gathering and assisting in the compiliation of the
Form E and other financial spreadsheets needed in
order to achieve a financial split in
divorce. Christine has recently achieved the most
'friendly' of divorces.
Fiona Read
Legal advice comes from
experienced family solicitor and partner in the Family
Law department at Russell-Cooke in Putney, SW15. Fiona Read
undertakes all aspects of family work for married
couples, registered civil partners and cohabiting
couples. Fiona is a Resolution trained mediator and
collaborative family lawyer, a member of the Lord
Chancellors' Abduction Panel and a part time Deputy
District Judge.
Jeni Hooper
Child Psychologist, and Parent Coach,
Jeni helps adults to understand the world through their
child’s eyes and to explore what will support each child
to adapt, grow confident and reach their true potential.
Happy2Learn combines practical,
family friendly approaches with the solid evidence from
psychological research into emotional wellbeing. Jeni has
helped many families over the past 25 years to make the

brings experience as a teacher, life coach, divorcee and
mother of three adult children to her refreshing approach
to reducing the emotional impact of
divorce.
Oppressive energy is a huge
problem for people in divorce situations
and Jennie helps to convert this to positive energy by
discovering new possibilities and promoting tools to help boost
personal growth and understanding, enabling confident progression in all areas of a new

Lorraine
Schaffer
Lorraine Schaffer is the
Director of the Centre for Mediation and Conflict
Resolution at the Institute of Family
Therapy (IFT) (see top) and teaches
graduate courses in
Conflict Resolution and Mediation Studies at
Birkbeck College.
Lorraine has been a practising family mediator
since 1995, and before that was a
social worker with adolescents and families.
Ray Rastall
Ray has been an Independent Financial Adviser and Pension
Consultant for 26 years. He works for Foster Denovo Ltd, a
national, award-winning, firm. He specialises in pensions and
has helped many people understand the complex area of pensions
in divorce. As he says “…pensions are often the largest
asset after the matrimonial home, and must be taken into
account in the financial settlement. Understanding how is
crucial to avoiding costly mistakes”. Ray can
provide financial
advice about your pension entitlement on divorce, and can help
you invest your share of a pension under a pensions sharing
order. He can also help you build your pension
post-divorce.

coach and published author Sue
Plumtree brings
significant experience in life transitions to support you
in creating a new life after the trauma of divorce.
Sue begins with a focus on the core values,
beliefs and expectations most of us carry but
recognises that after a painful
divorce, they are likely to cause conflict and
