Court Support :: For Lawyers in Family Law
Proceedings
In our experience, many people in the divorce court are thrown
by cross-examination which can introduce doubt
about the truth of the evidence, firstly in the mind of the
person being questioned and then, the judge.
You prepare their legal case, but you may have experience of
clients going to pieces in the divorce
court no matter how well prepared they are. These people may
also find it hard to leave the case behind them once
over.
Kirsten Gronning (founder of The Divorce Coach) is an
accredited coach and with colleague Shelagh Goldie, a
trained lawyer and Law Society accredited mediator, we have
provided successful court support for clients in many
cases.
Launched in 2007, our itsMYdivorce courtroom
support services have the support of lawyers,
judges and court staff. You can read some successful case
studies
here. An article about our
services was published in the July 2008 issue of
Resolution's family law magazine The Review.
the article called 'Preparing clients for
court' in a PDF file, which features a case
study and her lawyer. (If you are unable to read it, see
note at the bottom of the page.)
If you would like to discuss this service could be of benefit
to you in family law cases, to your colleagues,
your clients and the divorce courts, please contact
us now to discuss how we can
work
together to make divorce court appearances more
successful.
NOTE:
It is important to note that we prepare clients for the divorce
court appearance but
under no circumstances do we rehearse the evidence, coach or
discuss the
evidence or details in the case.
