The Divorce Coach recognise a largely unfulfilled need for mutual support for people facing or going through serious relationship breakdown. Through Divorce and Beyond is the divorce Support Forum meeting monthly in SW London. Designed for people contemplating or going through separation and divorce:

• Find some help and clarity in marital muddles
• Learn practical solutions to obtain the best possible split once you know this is what you must do
• Meet and share with others who understand ideas and solutions to make your journey simpler
• Learn new strategies for coping through separation and divorce
• Find cost-effective support

Who will attend?

• People who wish to help themselves to obtain the best possible split. They might be:
  • in a desperately unhappy marriage, considering how they might achieve a best possible split
  • being divorced, and wondering how they will cope on their own, or
  • driving the divorce, but looking for divorce resources and support which will better help them see what is right for them and their situation.

How will they benefit?

The forum is best suited to people who recognise the advantages of talking to others going through a similar, life changing journey and seeking to:

• release stress by finding practical answers
• share ideas and information with people who understand
• find solutions to bring about change
• learn how to cope better on their own
• find and accept new possibilities
• realise they are not alone

How will this work?

• By focusing on one area where they wish to seek clarification, they will be encouraged to take away new strategies to move things forward
• They will be encouraged to put together your own action plan
• They are encouraged to register in advance by telephoning the Divorce Coach
• The autumn meetings will include a guest speaker
• Attendees will be asked to agree in advance that all information imparted is in confidence

Is this for women only?

Definitely not - the forum is designed for women and men. The important thing is that you are going through serious relationship breakdown, and that you wish to learn more about the options open to you so that you are better able to take control.
